Member in good standing with CICC

The government of Canada designated the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) to regulate the Canadian immigration consulting, Canadian citizenship consulting, and international student advising professions.

Section 91(2) of the Immigration & Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Section 21.1 of the Citizenship Act require that anyone who provides Canadian immigration or citizenship advice for a fee or other consideration must be a member in good standing of either i) a Provincial law society in Canada, ii) the Chambre des notaries du Québec, or iii) ICCRC. http://iccrc-crcic.info/

CICC maintains a registry of Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) and Regulated International Student Immigration Advisors (RISIAs) to identify the professionals it regulates.

Note: It is an offence punishable by law to provide Canadian immigration services for a fee or other consideration if not regulated by CICC, a Canadian law society, or the Chambre des notaries du Québec.
